Kyle Cherrick started his entrepreneurial education in high school by interviewing local Tacoma, WA entrepreneurs about how they started their businesses. He took that passion to the University of Arizona's top 5 ranked McGuire Entrepreneurship Program where he wrote a business plan called Renewabuilt with the express goal of a $50 million valuation in Year 5.
Renewabuilt's business focused on solar project development with rural electric cooperatives who lack the human or financial resources to develop their own renewable generating stations in their service areas.
After graduating from U of A, Kyle joined a start-up utility-scale solar power project developer named AxioPower, based in San Juan Capistrano, CA. The team's goal is to accelerate the adoption of utility-scale solar power.
Kyle has consulted with multiple start-ups in the solar, wind, waste-to-energy, hydrogen, and water industries. He has given and is available to give presentations and consulting on such topics as:
- Emerging Hybrid Business Models That Are Advancing The Renewable Energy Industries
- Emerging Legislation that will Advance Renewable Energy and Electric Vehicles
- Pitching Your Green Business To Angels & V.C.s
